The Foundation of Superior Yarn
Quality fabrics begin with the right raw materials. At Centuary Processing Mills, we carefully select base yarn fiber and raw inputs from trusted sources, evaluating them for consistency, strength, and performance. Each material undergoes thorough inspection before processing, ensuring it meets our standards for durability, finish, and long-term reliability. This disciplined approach allows us to deliver fabrics that perform consistently across batches during processing.
Cotton
Cotton is a natural fiber derived from the cotton plant, valued for its softness, breathability, and durability. Once harvested, it is spun into yarn and woven into fabric for a wide range of applications. Known for its versatility and comfort, cotton is an excellent choice for everyday clothing, offering a perfect balance of ease, strength, and elegance.
Giza Cotton
Giza cotton is selected for its exceptional fibre length, natural softness, and strength. Known for producing smooth, refined fabrics with excellent durability, Giza cotton enables superior dye absorption and finish quality. Its consistent performance during processing makes it ideal for premium shirting and high-end fabric applications.
European Linen Flax
European linen flax is valued for its natural texture, breathability, and robustness. Sourced from regions renowned for flax cultivation, it offers excellent moisture management and a distinct, refined appearance. Advanced processing enhances softness and dimensional stability while retaining linen’s natural character.
Polyester
Polyester is chosen for its versatility, durability, and consistent performance. When processed with precision, it enhances fabric strength, dimensional stability, and resistance to creasing. Controlled processing ensures uniform quality across batches, making it suitable for performance-driven and easy-care applications.
Viscose
Often referred to as “artificial silk,” viscose is a plant-based fiber made from cellulose extracted from wood pulp. It is lightweight, smooth, and lustrous, offering a soft feel and an elegant drape.
Characteristics: Viscose may shrink after washing, but it typically regains its original shape when ironed.
Lyocell
Lyocell (also known as Tencel) is a fiber derived from wood pulp, where cellulose is carefully extracted and transformed into yarn. The resulting fabric is both strong and fluid, offering a smooth drape, easy wrinkle recovery, natural temperature regulation, and resistance to odors.
